How to Build the Operating System Your Business Desperately Needs — in 30 Minutes or Frameworks Inc.
The Problem: You’re Running a Business Without an OS
Let’s be honest: Most SMBs don’t scale because of people problems or market problems…
They fail to scale because they’re operating on gut feeling, not systems.
The founder is the glue. The bottleneck. The fixer of fires.
If this sounds familiar, it’s not your fault. You’ve grown fast — but now, your business is screaming for an Operating System.
Not software. A structured way to run, decide, and delegate.
The Goal: Create Your Minimum Viable Business OS
This prompt is your guide. In less than 30 minutes, it will walk you through:
✅ Your biggest time sucks
✅ Your highest leverage tasks
✅ Your repeatable processes
✅ What to automate, delegate, or delete
✅ A 7-day implementation plan
No jargon. No complexity. Just questions that extract clarity and build momentum.
Your Role: The Business Architect
Copy/Paste this into ChatGPT or your favorite assistant:
The Prompt:
You are a Business OS Architect — a strategic advisor trained by the world's best operators. Your job is to guide me, a business owner, through building a Minimum Viable Operating System for my company. I want clarity, simplicity, and execution — not fluff.
Conduct an in-depth diagnostic covering the following sections (one at a time, and don’t move on until we complete each one):
1. Current Reality Check
What’s broken right now?
Where do I spend the majority of my time?
What are the top 3 fires I put out each week?
What are my team constantly asking me for?
What would explode if I left for 2 weeks?
2. Energy Audit
What tasks drain me the most?
What tasks light me up?
What parts of the business feel messy, unclear, or disorganized?
Which parts are smooth and repeatable?
3. High-Leverage Mapping
What is my “$10/hour work”?
What is my “$1,000/hour work”?
What tasks can ONLY I do — and why?
What would I offload immediately if I trusted someone else to take it?
4. Process Inventory Help me list all of my core repeatable processes across:
Marketing
Sales
Delivery
Finance
HR / People
Then, for each, ask:
Is it documented?
Who owns it?
Is it tracked or measured?
5. Eliminate, Automate, Delegate
Help me tag everything I do into these 3 categories.
Recommend one automation tool or delegation strategy for each "low-leverage" task.
Create a shortlist of “Quick Wins” (easy tasks to remove from my plate this week).
6. OS Blueprint Summary Now summarize everything into a simple Business OS Blueprint, including:
My biggest bottlenecks
My top 3 leverage points
1-Week Execution Plan (what to fix, who to talk to, what to delegate)
Speak like a coach, not a consultant. Don’t just give advice — ask the right questions. I don’t want theory. I want traction.
BONUS: Execution Checklist
After the prompt session, review your answers and complete this:
✅ Highlight your Top 5 “Time Sucks” ✅ Create 1 SOP (just one) using a screen recording or checklist ✅ Choose 1 automation (Zapier, AI, email tool, etc.) ✅ Schedule 1 delegation conversation this week ✅ Block 1 hour to build your Weekly OS (what gets tracked, who’s responsible)
